Carol Spurlock is a poet and amateur photographer from Nacogdoches, Texas. Although she has only one book out, she is currently in the process of a second while attending school as a full time student for a degree in English at Stephen F Austin State University. After receiving a BA from SFASU, Carol plans to attend school at UNT or the Art Institute in Dallas for a degree in photography so that she may begin a career in Studio Photography with an emphasis on Weddings and Senior Portraits as well as writing.
831 Photography is Carol's amateur photography work completed as a hobby when she is not busy. Although she currently shoots still life photography, she is beginning to branch into wedding and senior portraits for family and friends in the Nacogdoches and Corrigan areas. 831 stands for "8 letters, 3 words, one meaning, "I love you" and she will hopefully have a studio in the Dallas area specializing mostly in wedding and senior portraits.

Life described in words: carol's poetry is carol's first published book of poetry. All poetry found in this book is written based on life experiences. Since the release of the book, Carol has been writing more poetry for a second book to come.
